15 August 1947, the date any Indian can hardly forget, the day of freedom, the day that bought hope, the day that made India independent seventy-five years ago is celebrated with the same hope, enthusiasm, happiness, and patriotism.
In the wake of 'Azadi ka Amrit mahotsav' and 'Har Ghar Tiranga' , NGF Junior School celebrated the 76th Independence day with great pomp and splendour. The stage , entrance and the entire school was decorated articulately with flowers and tricolour. The students donned the colours of our national flag wearing tricolour caps, bands and badges. The event included a medley of performances . The programme began with the addressal by the Headmistress followed by a series of performances like speech , melodious patriotic songs, captivating orchestra, talk show on national flag, fancy dress and slogans of freedom fighters and martyrs ending with a beautiful dance performance. The celebration culminated with the recital of national anthem. Afterwards students also held a prabhat pheri in school singing patriotic songs and slogans. The whole event turned out to be a great success.
