Single-use plastic products (SUPPs) may epitomize convenience, but with the damage they cause through production, distribution and litter, they are a major threat to environmental and human health.
In line with the clarion call of the government to phase out single use plastic products, an awareness campaign was conducted in the school. Various activities were conducted under the campaign.
A special assembly was conducted in which students presented speech and a Nukkad Natak on ill effects of plastic waste and ways to control it . It was followed by a pledge taken by all the students to Say No to Plastic and an in school rally. Other activities included poster making and essay writing.
