The significance of Diwali is the removal of darkness and ignorance from the mind and filling it with goodness. 

To welcome the festival of lights, a virtual Diwali celebration was organized by NGF Junior School. A special assembly was organized in which students emphasized on the importance of Diwali and its spiritual significance. The school was decorated beautifully with flowers, candles and diyas. Many activities were conducted for the students like making wall hanging, Rangoli decoration, singing,dance etc. Students of senior class made posters on Eco friendly Diwali to create awareness and encouragement for pollution free Diwali. The celebration illuminated everyone's heart with joy and fervor.
