EARTH DAY CELEBRATION
NGF JUNIOR SCHOOL celebrated Earth Day on 22nd April , 2019 with much enthusiasm.
The aim was to sensitize the students towards their role in addressing environmental challenges.
A special assembly was held in the morning where the students of class VIII present a ‘ nukkad natak’ and a song on our mother planet – Earth. Students also read a special prayer for showcasing their love and concern for mother earth.
Competitions were also organized by the NGO – YGPT for VII and VIII class students in two categories – “Best out of waste “ and “Drawing”. The best entries were felicitated with prizes.
The students of class VIII along with the teachers took out a rally in the area of Malviya Nagar as a part of Earth Day Campaign with banners and slogans.
It is hoped that students are sensitized early in life to take care of the environment.
