The school ground of Ngf Junior School came alive today with the commemoration of the 78th Independence Day celebration. The students showcased their patriotism and pride for the nation through a series of spectacular dance and music performances.
The Principal, Ms. Vanita Masih addressed the gathering by reiterating the way our brave freedom fighters sacrificed their lives, happiness and families – just so we could enjoy the taste of liberty.
A social drama was presented by the students on the journey of India after independence.
The students, dressed in the vibrant colours of the nation – green, white and saffron – performed heart touching patriotic songs complemented by the harmonious tunes of the keyboard. This was followed by the much-awaited dance performance, wherein the students presented a power-packed & impactful dance. The programme concluded with the recital of the national anthem.
