Independence Day has a special place in the heart of every Indian. Not only does it symbolize the celebration of wonderful years of freedom but also extends an emphatic message of the progressive future of our country. The 77th Independence Day of our motherland India was celebrated with pomp and great joy. On this pleasurable day, a sense of pride and happiness could be seen on the faces of students and staff. Everyone was excited to celebrate the occasion.
The stage, entrance and the entire school was decorated articulately with flowers and tricolour. The students donned the colours of our national flag wearing tricolour caps, bands and badges. The event included an array of performances. The programme began with an energetic March Past followed by a motivating addressal of the Headmistress.
The programme had a line of performances like speech, poem, dance, skit on freedom struggle timeline, fancy dress with slogans of freedom fighters and martyrs, hula hoop drill and singing. The celebration culminated with the recital of national anthem. The whole event turned out to be a great success.
